Port of Felixstowe - Port of Felixstowe (PFL) is the largest container port in the UK and one of the largest in Europe. Felixstowe Dock is walking distance from the accommodation and is fascinating to see in operation.
Landguard Bird Observatory - is housed in disused Military Buildings on the Local Nature Reserve at the Southern end of the town of Felixstowe in Suffolk.
Landguard Fort - has a long and rich history. Originally built at the behest of Henry the Eighth it is the only fort in England to have repelled a full scale invasion attempt.
